Everyday use
Kopf Pottery wares are made of stoneware clay and fired at high temperature to ensure strength and durability. Although each piece is safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher, these processes will weaken ceramic wares over time and make staining or breakage more likely. Washing by hand is strongly recommended.

Food safety
All Kopf Pottery glazes are lead free and food safe. Very occasionally, non-food safe glazes are used on the exterior body of wares but never on interior surfaces. Whilst seconds may include “pinholes” in the description, this is a matter of aesthetics and not food safety. All items are high fired to ensure the clay body is fully vitrified.

Postage
Orders are typically shipped in 1-2 business days. Shipping costs will be calculated at the checkout depending on item weight, dimensions and delivery region. Kopf Pottery ships worldwide, if your region is not visible at the checkout however, please get in touch via the contact page. As the UK is no longer part of the EU, customs charges could be applied when you receive an item outside the UK. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to include this in the shipping fees at this end. Your local delivery company may charge a fee where applicable.

Packaging
Kopf Pottery wares are packed carefully using 100% recyclable products: kraft-paper, cardboard and biodegradable packing peanuts. Occasionally, items will be packed using bubble wrap or sealed air pouches, these are reused from packages received by Kopf Pottery. If you discover any breakage during transit, please get in touch via the contact page.

Out of stock items
If you’ve seen something you like that's out of stock a repeat version can be made. While it won’t be exactly the same, it will be closely related to the original. Please get in touch via the contact page to discuss.

Returns
If your purchase wasn’t what you expected, you can request a return within 30 days of purchase via the contact page. Once the item is returned to Kopf Pottery, a refund will be issued to the value of your item. Postage will also be refunded in cases of damaged or faulty items. Please ensure that items are returned in the same condition they were received.

Subscribe to the mailing list
Approximately once every two months subscribers will receive a password via email allowing preview access to the shop the day before new wares go live. These correspondences will sometimes also include discount codes and Kopf Pottery updates; exhibitions, new stockists etc.
